Firearms Training and Concealed Carry Classes

4 Hours

Ideal for those with little or no experience; first-time gun owners or users; and the fearful or handicapped. 

If you do not have a firearm and 25 rounds of ammunition for the course, a .22lr firearm with 25 rounds of ammunition can be provided for an additional $25.00, or a 9mm handgun with 25 rounds of ammo for $45.00.

5 Hours

This course is for those who have some shooting experience and are looking for more defensive-style training. Students will fire 50 rounds and practice defensive shooting drills at multiple targets. If you do not have a firearm and 50 rounds of ammunition for the course, a .22lr firearm and ammunition can be provided for an additional  $30.00. This course meets the training requirement to apply for your Concealed Carry License.

6 Hours

This course is for those who have some shooting experience and want to learn about Self-Defense firearms tactics in the home. Students will fire 50 rounds of handgun ammunition and 10 rounds with a shotgun (optional).  If you do not have a firearm, shotgun, and 50+ rounds of ammunition for the course, a .22lr firearm, a shotgun, and ammunition can be provided for an additional  $50.00.  This course meets the training requirement to apply for your Concealed Carry License. 

We assess where you are now and develop a plan to get you where you want to be. After the evaluation, we work on safety, marksmanship skills, and defensive shooting skills.

1 hour, 1on1 session, with an experienced and patient Firearms Instructor. This is for those at all levels of shooting experience who want to learn how to shoot safely or improve their shooting ability. 

A 4-hour course that will introduce the techniques needed to carry and use a concealed defensive handgun ethically, responsibly, and with confidence. Evaluation and experience required.

Rental equipment, firearm, and ammo are available.

A 6-hour course done partly in the classroom and on the range. A combination of marksmanship skills development and an introduction to defensive shooting. Students will draw from an outside waistband (OWB) holster and engage multiple targets at different distances.

A 6-hour course beginning in the classroom reviewing safety and safe gun handling followed by 4 hours on the range drawing from an inside the waistband (IWB) holster. Students will engage multiple targets while moving, sitting, standing, and turning.

A 6-hour course in the use of handguns and shotguns inside the home with movement and turning corners within the home. Ammunition selection, firearms and accessories selection, and use. A combination of classroom instruction and outdoor live-fire.

A 9 hour course that develops NRA Certified Range Safety Officers with the knowledge, skills, and attitude essential to organizing, conducting, and supervising safe shooting activities and range operations. 

Fortify an existing room or rooms with simple, common, yet effective materials and devices. No construction is needed.  Creating a safe room or rooms can give you precious extra time to call the police and defend yourself and your family.

This is not a firearms instruction course. This will show common weaknesses that criminals may take advantage of, and a variety of corrective measures that are practical, inexpensive, and easy to follow.
